The Eduardian Period Seed Pearl and Diamond 14K Gold Lavalier Antique Necklace is a gorgeous perfectky preserved piece of history. The Lavalier style of necklace was widely popular during the Eduardian Era (1901 - 1914) of England. Lavalier necklaces were known for having seed pearls, mine cut diamonds and some times colored stones. This one is particularly unique because it has a small Baroque Pearl dangling from the bottom. All the pearls in this antique pendant are salt water pearls. The diamond is nearly flawless and the seed pearls on the sides gradiate in size, creating a beautiful frame. The piece has engraved details throughout that make the pearls pop.
We added the 14K Gold chain to the antique pendant. It's a delicate yet sturdy 14K gold chain that compliments the detailed style. The chain is 16 inches long with a spring clasp and closure.
