Blue Agate Road to Mount Ranier Necklace
I prospected this Blue Agate myself in the mountains just north of Ellensburg, Washington, near First Creek. I cut and polished it into a cabochon. You can see milky stripes of white, clear and blue on a layer of clear quartz. It's bezel set in sterling silver with a scene from Mount Ranier National Forest cut into the back, which I drove through too get to the dig site. The Blue Agate in setting is 42mm long by 23mm wide and 7mm thick. The sterling silver pendant is suspended from 20 inches of thick stainless steel chain with lobsters clasp closure. A 2 inch extender with blue lace Agate detail finishes this one of a kind piece.
